I grew up thinking the friendliest people were in the South, but better watch out for those Yankees! But in recent years, I've been privileged to visit my daughter in New York with side-trips to Massachusetts and Vermont. I've found people to be gracious, friendly, and extremely helpful in the Northeast, and was especially surprised at the kindness from people in New York City. We are all creations of God, and how good to have a common bond rather than something that separates us.
